Niels — Founder & Director
Eleven years of hands-on fencing and gate experience across residential, commercial and industrial projects in Western Australia. From initial site evaluation and quality control through to final installation sign-off, Niels oversees every project to strict industry standards and exact client specifications. He is the person on site making sure posts are plumb, rails are level and every panel sits exactly where it should. That level of precision is not negotiable on any FencrGatr job regardless of whether it is a 15 metre side boundary in the suburbs or a 200 metre commercial perimeter.
His portfolio includes major commercial environments such as Perth Airport and Wodgina Mines where safety compliance, project coordination and installation standards are critical. These are sites where you do not get a second chance to meet specification, and Niels delivered on both. At FencrGatr he manages customer requirements, staff, suppliers and specialist installers across every active project. He controls the workflow from the moment a quote is accepted through to the day the crew packs up and leaves a finished fence behind. That includes coordinating materials supply, scheduling crews around weather and access constraints, and solving the site-specific challenges that Perth’s varied terrain throws up on a weekly basis.
Three FencrGatr projects led by Niels were shortlisted as finalists across four categories at the 2025 Australian Fencing Awards, placing the company among the best in the country for pool fencing and residential fencing. The Mosman Park pool fence, the Swanbourne steel batten fence and the Bayswater Colorbond and retaining project each represent a different discipline within the trade, and all three met the standard required for national recognition. Originally from the Netherlands, he brings a quality-control mindset developed through his earlier career as Quality Controller for a major agricultural export logistics company in Naaldwijk.
