Key Features of the Project

This project transformed a new build with PVC semi privacy feature fencing to introduce warmth and a timber, Hamptons style feel and aesthetic, without any of the maintenance burden of timber. The semi privacy configuration allows filtered airflow and dappled light between slats while still screening the yard from direct view. A matching PVC slat pedestrian gate with integrated lock hardware was fitted to complete the side access.  Challenges included working around the specific placement and post positioning while maintaining straight line and level across the full run.

Products Used in the Project

The fencing system used PVC semi privacy slat panels in three finishes. PVC fencing requires no painting, will not rust, rot, or splinter, and is resistant to Perth’s harsh UV and coastal salt air. All slats were fixed into PVC post channels with concealed fixings for a clean face on both sides. Posts were PVC with matching caps fitted. The pedestrian gate was PVC.  Materials were supplied and installed by FencrGatr’s team to manufacturer specifications.

Client Expectations and Feedback

The client needed privacy and ability to secure their newly built-home for children and pets. FencrGatr worked with the client who specifically wanted as much privacy as possible and match the homes exterior in the most appropriate way.  The fence provides a hampton’s style design quality. The semi privacy spacing was chosen deliberately  softening the fence line with airflow. PVC was the ideal material choice here as it will never need repainting and handles Perth summers without fading, warping, or corroding.
