Key Features of the Project

This Mosman Park pool fencing project combined high-precision engineering with clean aesthetic integration into a new limestone retaining wall, and was named a finalist in the Pool Fencing category at the Australian Fencing Awards. The original plan needed reworking once the wall was built, as the actual infill panel heights and widths varied from the drawings. FencrGatr re-measured and re-quoted onsite to lock in a flawless, pool-compliant outcome. The custom perforated aluminium panels were manufactured and powder coated in Monument, then anchored with base-plated posts fixed into new aggregate. Every panel was cut to exact height to sit flush with the limestone wall, eliminating climbable ledges and meeting Australian Standards. The final result is a striking, modern, and safe pool enclosure that reads as part of the architecture rather than a bolt-on barrier.

Products Used in the Project

The fence used Premium Perf perforated aluminium panels in a custom Monument powder coat, paired with a matching fully assembled perforated gate in the same finish. Safetech MagnaLatch top-pull locks and self-closing hinges were fitted for child-safe compliance. Posts were base-plated and fixed into new aggregate for a solid, accurate set. The team used laser-levelling technology throughout to keep both measurement and installation precise, which mattered here given the panels had to sit flush to an uneven masonry line. All materials were fabricated and installed to pool-compliance standards by FencrGatr’s experienced team.
