Celeste — Co-Founder, Head of Strategy and Growth
Twenty-five years of business leadership, operational strategy and organisational design across Australia and internationally. Celeste is the reason FencrGatr operates like a professional services company rather than a traditional trades business. She built the systemised, process-led operating model that sits behind every project, incorporating automation and AI to drive efficiency while preserving an authentic, people-led customer experience at every stage. From the first enquiry through to the final follow-up after installation, the communication systems, scheduling workflows and quality checkpoints that customers experience are all frameworks Celeste designed and continues to refine.
Her background includes strategic change initiatives and large-scale process design at two of Australia’s largest organisations. At Australia Post she led strategic change across national operations, and within the Australian Government she delivered process and procedural design for new policy implementation at the Australian Taxation Office, Service Delivery Risk and Integrity. That work earned her the Platinum Trailblazer Award in 2023, presented by Assistant Commissioner Claire O’Neill for leadership excellence in process and procedural design. These are not small organisations or simple projects. The rigour required to redesign processes at that scale is exactly what Celeste brought to FencrGatr when she and Niels founded the company.
At FencrGatr she leads business systems, customer experience, strategic partnerships and commercial growth. She developed the company’s trademarked brand and intellectual property suite, built the strategic alliances that strengthen FencrGatr’s market position, and controls the information flow between customers and the operations team so that nothing falls through the cracks. When a customer says the communication from FencrGatr was better than any other trades business they have dealt with, that is the direct result of systems Celeste put in place.
Celeste was recognised as a Leading Woman in Industry at the 2025 Australian Fencing Awards, acknowledging her contribution to raising professional standards in a traditionally male-dominated trade. Three FencrGatr projects were also shortlisted as finalists across four categories at the same awards, a result that reflects the operational foundation she built as much as the installation quality on site. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce with double majors in Marketing and HR from the University of Tasmania and a Diploma of Business from Swinburne University of Technology.
